I'm Caleb Foster, a career winemaker and producer of Barragan Vinos.
Recently, I had the honor of working with two incredible twin brothers, Jesus and Jose Barragan right here in Zillah, Washington. They’ve made wine here for over 20 years.
I've produced top Washington wines for 30 years. I’ve also worked with some of the finest winemakers in the world from Walla Walla to Marlborough New Zealand to Sonoma to Stellenbosch South Africa and back again.
But the Barragan twins well, these guys are something else.
Their winemaking skills and insight didn’t just show me something new, they blew me away. Their passion and craft produce what only great art can – their wines transport you to home, familia, and into Yakima’s Mexican culture. When we worked together, they introduced me to a low-alcohol, sweet wine. More than just delicious—it’s the kind of wine that turns any gathering into a party. Raised in Pajacuarán, Michoacán, Mexico, and Yakima Valley, they know these wines are made for carne asadas where the music’s loud, quinceañeras where everyone is on the dance floor, and late-night talks con los primos cracking jokes around the fire.
